Four stations

Long range and pistol share the live range: long range in the morning, pistol in the afternoon, both days. CQB and clays run alongside all day.

Mornings

Long range

Precision rifle on steel. Position, wind, and dope taught by people who do it for a living.

Sunday: a scored string at distance, points by hit.

Afternoons

Pistol

Grip, draw, presentation, transitions, reloads.

Sunday: a timed stage scored on hit factor.

All day

CQB

Four-person team room clearing in a purpose-built shoot house. Airsoft, no force on force.

Sunday: a timed clear with penalties for no-shoots and procedurals.

All day

Clays

Mount, lead, and follow-through.

Sunday: 25 birds for score.

The people teaching this weekend have trained the people who train the military.

Former Green Berets. Former Navy SEALs. The instructor cadre flies in for two days to coach every relay on Saturday and score every stage on Sunday.

Every live-fire station also has dedicated range officers, and a paramedic is on site both days.

You will not get this instruction anywhere else in Georgia for the price of a team entry.

Questions

Do I need shooting experience?

No. Saturday is built for instruction at every level. If you have never fired a rifle, you will have a Green Beret or SEAL beside you when you do. Experienced shooters will be pushed.

Do I need my own firearm or ammunition?

No. Firearms and ammunition are provided at every live-fire station and airsoft is provided in the shoot house. Personal firearms are not permitted unless cleared in writing by the lead instructor before the event.

What do I need to bring?

Eye protection, ear protection, closed-toe boots, layers for October weather, and a hat. Eye and ear protection are required on every line.

Is CQB live fire?

No. The shoot house is airsoft only, with no force on force. You clear rooms as a four-person team against targets, not people.

Where exactly is the range?

A private property about one hour south of Atlanta. The address and directions go to registered shooters the week of the event.

What is the safety setup?

Professional instructors, dedicated range officers on every live-fire line, a paramedic on site both days, a safety brief every morning, and a signed waiver at registration. Any safety violation is an immediate removal from the event. No alcohol on the range.

Is my entry tax deductible?

Entries include goods and services. Your receipt will show the fair market value of what you received, and only the amount above it is deductible. Consult your tax advisor.

Can I get a refund?

No. All entries are final and non-refundable. Entries are transferable to another shooter until October 19.

What if it rains?

Rain or shine. We shoot in the rain. Lightning holds the range for 30 minutes after the last thunder. A weather call goes out to registered shooters by Wednesday, October 21.

Registration closes Monday, October 19.
