The Ambassador Role

The Mission
Needs a Local Face.

ATLVets was built in Atlanta. The mission is national. Brand Ambassadors are the bridge between the two — veteran leaders who plant the ATLVets flag in their city, build the local community, and create the same kind of impact that Atlanta has been experiencing since 2023.

This is not a volunteer coordinator position. It is a leadership role — with real responsibilities, real support from the ATLVets team, and real impact on veterans in your community. The right ambassador is someone who already leads. We just give them a mission to do it through.

"I don't want people who need a mission. I want people who already have one — and are ready to align it with something bigger."
— Zack A. Knight, MBA · Founder, ATLVets
Host Local Events
Organize and represent ATLVets at community and professional events in your city — building the kind of veteran community that didn't exist before you showed up.
Grow Membership
Actively recruit and engage veterans, families, and supporters in your market — expanding the ATLVets community with the same energy you brought to every mission.
Build Partnerships
Develop relationships with businesses and organizations in your city that align with the ATLVets mission — creating the corporate and community partnerships that fund and sustain programs.
Mentor Veterans
Be the person in your city that a newly separated veteran can reach out to. Provide guidance, connect them to the right ATLVets programs, and keep the community tight.
What You'll Do

Four Core
Responsibilities.

Ambassadors are expected to execute — not just represent. These are the four operational responsibilities that define the role. They align directly with the ATLVets mission and the Four M's.

01
Host Local Events
Plan and execute ATLVets events in your city — Sweat with a Vet fitness meetups, networking events, speaker series, and professional development sessions. ATLVets provides the framework and materials. You provide the local knowledge and the relationships.
02
Grow Membership
Recruit veterans, military families, and community supporters to the ATLVets platform and community. Share programs, invite people to events, and actively grow the local presence of the organization through your personal and professional network.
03
Build Corporate Partnerships
Identify and develop relationships with local businesses, HR teams, and community organizations that align with ATLVets. This includes employer partnerships for veteran hiring, event sponsorships, and VRG development conversations that support the broader VetOPS mission.
04
Promote the Mission
Be the voice of ATLVets in your city — on social media, in professional rooms, and in veteran-facing spaces. Share programs, impact stories, and events. Represent the brand with the same professionalism and discipline that defined your service.
What You Get

This Isn't
Volunteer Work.
It's a Platform.

ATLVets Ambassadors are given everything they need to lead effectively in their city — and they gain far more than they give. This is a leadership development opportunity with a national organization behind it.

ATLVets Brand & Resources
Full access to ATLVets branding, event playbooks, program materials, and the organizational infrastructure built over three years. You don't build from scratch — you deploy what works.
Direct Access to Leadership
Regular touchpoints with the ATLVets founder and national team. You're not managed from a distance — you're part of the leadership conversation.
Network & Credibility
Association with a nationally recognized veteran leadership organization — the same brand that has hosted General David Petraeus, Jack Carr, and earned the Warrior Alliance Veteran of the Year award.
Leadership Development
Access to ATLVets programming, events, and the Leadership Institute ecosystem. You represent the mission — and benefit from it at the same time.
Impact That's Visible
You'll see the direct results of your work — veterans connected, events filled, partnerships formed. This is not abstract. The mission is measurable.

Who We're Looking For

The Right
Ambassador.

We don't need someone who wants to be part of a veteran organization. We need someone who is already leading in their community and wants to align that leadership with a national mission. The role finds the person — not the other way around.

Ambassadors do not need to be veterans themselves — though most are. What they must have is genuine commitment to the veteran community, a professional network in their city, and the discipline to show up and execute.

Based in or deeply connected to one of the four open cities Tampa, Charlotte, Nashville, or Dallas — you know the market and the people in it
Veteran, milspouse, or deeply committed veteran ally You don't have to have served — you have to understand what service costs and what it builds
Professional network and community presence You have relationships. You show up places. People know you and trust you.
Disciplined, self-directed, and execution-oriented You don't need to be managed. You set a standard and hold yourself to it.
Aligned with the ATLVets mission and Five Pillars Marketing, Mindset, Movement, Money Management, Ministry — you live at least one of these
