Heroic Forge

Heroic Forge.

A structured men's veterans development cohort focused on identity, discipline, resilience, and brotherhood — built on daily execution, weekly training, and measurable outcomes.

Not therapy. Not a talk group. A forge.
Daily habits + weekly cohort + brotherhood accountability
Walk away with an operating order and a 90-day execution plan
Why This Exists

The Mission
Ended. You Didn't.

Most veteran men don't struggle because they're weak. They struggle because the system that produced their strength is gone. The military gave you structure, mission, brotherhood, and a standard. Separation took all of it — simultaneously — and handed you nothing in return.

Identity loss — who are you when the rank is gone
Structure collapse — discipline drift with no formation to show up to
Sleep disruption, chronic stress, emotional volatility
Relationship strain — leading at home the way you led in combat doesn't work
Career translation failures — your leadership invisible in civilian rooms
Isolation — no one around you has been where you've been
Heroic Forge
Is This.
High-accountability cohort — standards enforced, drift not tolerated
Daily habit execution to rebuild the discipline the military installed
Weekly cohort training that produces real, tangible deliverables
Brotherhood accountability — the men in your cohort know your standards
Measurable outcomes — not feelings, not inspiration, results
Clinical advisor oversight — safety screening, escalation protocols, warm handoffs
And Not This
Not clinical therapy or mental health treatment
Not a support group or talk circle
Not motivational content with no follow-through
The Four Pillars

Forged on
Four Foundations.

Every module, every session, every accountability check-in is grounded in one of these four pillars. Together they rebuild the operating system that service installed — and transition dismantled.

01
Pillar One
Identity & Purpose

Rebuild who you are after the uniform, define a clear mission, and establish non-negotiable standards that guide decisions under pressure. The man behind the rank has to know who he is — or every civilian room will define it for him.

02
Pillar Two
Discipline & Execution

Install repeatable habits, routines, and accountability systems that turn "I'll do it" into "it's done." The military gave you structure from the outside. This program builds it from the inside — so it holds when no one is watching.

03
Pillar Three
Resilience & Regulation

Improve sleep, stress control, emotional regulation, and recovery so performance doesn't collapse when life hits hard. The nervous system that carried you through service needs recalibration — not more demands stacked on top of unaddressed patterns.

04
Pillar Four
Brotherhood & Leadership

Strengthen relationships, communication, and service-minded leadership through a trusted cohort and small-team accountability. The men around you in this program are the closest thing to a unit you'll have in civilian life — treat it that way.

The Program Model

What Your
Week Looks Like.

Three touchpoints, every week. Minimum effective dose — maximum accountability. Built for men who are already operating at capacity. It fits in the margins of a full life and still produces measurable change.

Session 1 & Session 12 — In Person.
The program opens and closes with in-person deep dive workshops in Atlanta. Sessions 2–11 are virtual. You enter as a group. You graduate as a brotherhood.
Sessions 1 & 12 · In-Person · Atlanta
Bookend Deep Dives
The forge opens and closes in person. Session 1 is the launch intensive — cohort formation, accountability team assignment, baseline work, and mission set. Session 12 is the graduation deep dive — deliverable completion, legacy statement, and entry into the alumni brotherhood.
Sessions 2–11 · Weekly · 75–90 Min · Virtual
Cohort Sessions
Ten weekly virtual working sessions. Live facilitation, training, discussion, and commitments — each building on the last. Not a check-in. A structured session with a deliverable at the end of every week.
Daily · 5–10 Minutes
Daily Habit Execution
Minimum effective dose — non-negotiable. A daily practice system that rebuilds the consistency the military built in you. Small inputs, compounding results, every single day.
Accountability Teams
Small teams of 3–4 men check in weekly or biweekly between sessions. The men who know exactly where you are, what you committed to, and won't let you disappear.
12 Weeks · 2 In-Person Bookends
20 Seats Per Cohort
90 Day Alumni Brotherhood
2 Cohorts Per Year
12-Module Curriculum

What You'll
Work Through.

Twelve modules, sequenced deliberately. Each builds on the last. By graduation you won't just know what to do — you'll have already done it, with a plan to keep going.

01
Identity Reconstruction
Who are you outside the rank, the unit, and the mission? This module rebuilds the foundation everything else rests on — before anything else can be built.
02
Rhythm & Structure
Install a daily and weekly operating rhythm that creates stability without a duty schedule someone else sets. Your formation — built by you, for you.
03
Sleep, Stress & Recovery
Practical sleep and recovery protocols. The nervous system that carried you through service needs recalibration — not more performance demands stacked on top of it.
04
Emotional Regulation & Resilience
Stress regulation tools and emotional control frameworks. Leading from a regulated state — not a reactive one — is the difference between the man your family needs and the one they're managing.
05
Career Translation & Purpose
Translate military leadership into civilian language that opens doors. Resume bullets, personal narrative, and a career action plan that reflects what you've actually done and led.
06
Standards, Discipline & Money
Personal operating budget, financial automation, and the discipline systems that stop drift before it starts. Financial stability is not separate from personal mission — it is the mission.
07
Relationships & Communication
Communication frameworks, boundary plans, and the relational skills civilian life requires. Leading at home is the hardest leadership assignment most veteran men ever face.
08
Healthy Masculinity & Fatherhood
What it means to be a man after service — in your marriage, with your kids, and in your community. Not soft, not rigid. Present. Intentional. Strong enough to be still.
09
Leadership at Home & Work
Bring the same capability that made you effective in uniform into your family and your workplace — without burning everyone around you in the process.
10
Moral Injury, Meaning & Integrity
The weight that service left behind. Coaching tools and referral guardrails for the moral load that civilian life doesn't have language for — and that most men carry alone.
11
Physical Readiness & Performance
Movement, nutrition, and performance habits that sustain the physical standard service built — without the PT test, without the formation, without anyone making you do it but yourself.
12
Legacy, Brotherhood & Graduation
Integrate everything. Build your legacy statement. Complete your 90-day execution scorecard. Enter the alumni brotherhood ready to lead — at home, at work, and in your community.
Tangible Takeaways

What You

After Graduation

The Cohort Ends.
The Brotherhood Doesn't.

Graduation is not the finish line. Every man who completes Heroic Forge is welcomed into the Heroic Forge Alumni Brotherhood — a permanent, structured continuity program that keeps the accountability, the standards, and the growth going long after the cohort ends.

The military maintained your brotherhood through structure. The alumni program does the same. You don't re-apply. You don't restart. You continue — at a cadence built for the long haul.

Safety & Clinical Oversight

Not the VA.
Not Therapy.
Something Different.

Heroic Forge lives in a deliberate space. It is not clinical therapy — and it is not unsupported. We maintain defined safety screening, escalation protocols, and warm handoff pathways so every man who needs additional support gets connected to it — fast and without shame.

Our Consultative Clinical Advisor governs our safety protocols, trains our team, and provides escalation consults. Men don't ask for help easily. We've built the infrastructure to make that unnecessary — support comes to you, not the other way around.

Readiness screening at entry — acute flags trigger same-day outreach
Non-clinical program boundaries maintained throughout — coaching, not diagnosis
Warm handoffs to VA facilities, Vet Centers, and community care when needed
Qualtrics-based secure outcomes tracking — baseline, midpoint, exit, 90-day
Crisis resources always available — 988 Veterans Press 1, local VA by ZIP

The Man Who

Program Lives It.

Octavio Lorenzo didn't step into the Heroic Forge from the outside. He built his coaching practice — Reach Fit Life — around the exact disciplines this program delivers: mindset, physical readiness, identity reconstruction, and daily execution under pressure.

He is a certified Heroic Coach — trained in the Heroic methodology that grounds the program's approach to performance, virtue, and whole-man development. When Octavio leads a Heroic Forge cohort, he's not facilitating from a curriculum. He's leading from where he's been.

Questions

Before You
Apply.

The most common questions — answered directly. If you have one not covered here, email info@atlvets.org.

Is this therapy?
No. Heroic Forge is performance coaching and peer accountability — not clinical therapy or mental health treatment. We have a Consultative Clinical Advisor who governs safety protocols, but the program itself is non-clinical. If you need clinical care, we connect you to it through our warm handoff network.
Do I have to be a veteran?
Primarily, yes. Heroic Forge is built for veteran men. Limited supporter seats may be made available by invitation — but the program, curriculum, and community are designed specifically for men who have served.
What if I'm struggling right now?
You can still apply. We use a readiness screening at intake and will refer appropriately if higher-level care is needed. You don't have to have it together to apply. You just have to be willing to show up and do the work.
What is the time commitment?
Daily: 5–10 minutes of habit execution. Weekly: one 75–90 minute cohort session plus accountability team check-in. Sessions 1 and 12 are in-person in Atlanta. This is designed to fit a full life — not require you to pause it.
What does it cost?
Heroic Forge follows the ATLVets earned model. The equated value is $500/month, contributed through financial contribution or volunteer hours. Scholarship and sponsor underwriting may be available — contact us for current availability.
Do I have to be physically fit?
No. Movement standards inside the program are scaled. Consistency beats intensity — always. You don't need to max a PT test to enter a brotherhood.
