Three events in one day — private lunch, private dinner, and a public speaking event — with General David H. Petraeus, U.S. Army (Ret.). Over 1,000 total attendees across all three events. The event that established ATLVets as a credible, premier veteran leadership organization.

Former Supreme Allied Commander NATO and 4-Star Admiral Jim Stavridis joined ATLVets for an evening of discussion on leadership, global security, and the veteran experience. One of the most decorated naval officers in American history, on the ATLVets stage.
Program Launch
ATLVets Founded & Launched
ATLVets Inc. officially launched as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Atlanta. From the first event, the mission was clear: give veterans a new mission, a new community, and a new standard to operate at. Year one ended with the Petraeus event — the highest bar set on purpose.

Author of "Tip of the Spear" and founder of the Tip of the Spear Landmine Removal Group, Ryan Hendrickson spoke on service, sacrifice, and the mission that doesn't end after the uniform. One of the most moving speaker events in ATLVets history.
Community Event
Fall Pickleball Classic
ATLVets' first Pickleball Classic — a round-robin tournament supporting veterans and their families. 12 teams competing. Hosted at Woodlands Subdivision, generously provided by board member Jamie Decker. The community building that happens between the big events.

Annual Thanksgiving Gala
The ATLVets annual Gala — recognizing outstanding veterans, community contributors, and the year's program milestones. Black-tie event honoring the mission and celebrating the community that makes it possible.

The 2025 ATLVets Thanksgiving Gala at Natson Hotel — the signature annual fundraising and recognition event for the ATLVets community. Celebrated program milestones, recognized outstanding veterans and partners, and advanced the mission heading into 2026.

ATLVets at the first annual Tip of the Spear landmine removal gala in Dallas — supporting Ryan Hendrickson's global veteran humanitarian mission. ATLVets expands into Texas in strength, building the community that follows every great event.

ATLVets hosts the Atlanta Pat Tillman Run — honoring one of the most selfless acts of service in modern American military history. Hundreds of veterans, families, and supporters running together in honor of a name that means something.

ATLVets supports the Georgia Military Veteran Hall of Fame unveiling ceremony at the Georgia State Capitol — honoring the veterans whose service shaped the state and the nation.

Ukrainian Cultural Forces
ATLVets hosts the Ukrainian Warfighter Band and Cultural Forces during their Atlanta visit — a powerful expression of the bond between those who have chosen to defend freedom, regardless of uniform or flag.
International Mission
Operation TALLAWAH — Jamaica
Veterans rebuilding schools across western Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa devastated 100+ schools. Led by Major (Ret.) Karl Chambers and Air Force veteran Bindley Sangster. Service beyond the uniform — on an international scale.
