With Honor fights polarization in Congress through principled veteran leadership. The organization has partnered with the Howard Buffett Foundation to host a national tour of Cultural Forces, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who are world-class professional musicians. Some of the musicians were grievously wounded in combat on the frontlines of the war. Cultural Forces is on a cultural diplomacy mission to the United States to thank the American people for all support provided to Ukraine during the war.
With Honor recently helped arranged performances on Capitol Hill for the U.S. Congress, the largest public high school in North Carolina, universities, and the United Nations General Assembly in order to raise awareness about the Ukrainian fight for freedom, democracy, and the importance of bipartisan support in America for the war effort.
The group is composed of two bandura players, an opera singer, a violinist, a pianist, a country singer, and a poet who was one of Ukraine’s biggest celebrities before the war, when he volunteered for the frontlines. Performances include renditions of a wide variety of music, from Ukrainian and world classics to covers of popular hits and country tunes. It also features the traditional Ukrainian string instrument, the bandura. The performances combine powerful narration and storytelling with unique opportunities for question and answers.
Families are welcome.
