entrepreneurship

The ATLVets Senior Leader Track exists to develop and deploy veteran entrepreneurs—either to scale their own company or to step into ownership through a vetted acquisition opportunity with Patriot Growth Capital (PGC). The mission is simple: convert leadership experience into disciplined business execution, ownership readiness, and long-term wealth creation.

What is the Senior Leader Track?

The Senior Leader Track is ATLVets’ entrepreneurship-exclusive cohort for founders, business builders, and veterans preparing for business ownership through acquisition. Whether you’re growing a company from the ground up or pursuing a direct placement as an owner/operator in a PGC acquisition, this track provides the structure, mentorship, and accountability needed to operate at the executive level.

Members receive targeted business development support, access to a high-caliber peer cohort, and mentorship from experienced operators and industry leaders who know how to build, buy, and scale.

Success isn't instant, it's a journey

A Note From Zack-

I’m an entrepreneur built through iterations, not instant success. My journey hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been shaped by learning in public, taking calculated risks, and refining my approach through real wins, real setbacks, and the discipline to keep moving forward. Over time, I’ve evolved from executing ideas to building systems, leading teams, and developing programs that help veterans and high-performing leaders step into business ownership and long-term impact. I believe entrepreneurship isn’t a moment—it’s a continuous process of growth, adaptation, and accountability.

That’s why I built this program; I needed it when I was medically retired and couldn’t find it. Now here is is.

Three Areas of Focus

Ownership Readiness (Build or Buy)

  • Entrepreneur mindset shift to owner/operator

  • Business model clarity, risk, decision-making, leadership under uncertainty

  • For acquisition path: ETA fundamentals, deal literacy, transition-to-ownership expectations

Operational Excellence

  • Running the machine: systems, process, people, and performance

  • KPI/scorecards, meeting rhythms, accountability, cash discipline

  • Hiring/leading teams as an operator—not a “doer with a title”

Growth & Value Creation

  • Marketing + sales engine design (pipeline, positioning, offers, conversion)

  • Business development, partnerships, and relationship capital

  • Scaling strategy: what to add, what to kill, and how to grow profitably

Become an Entrepreneur

Why is Entrepreneurship The Right Path For You?

Entrepreneurship is a strong fit for veterans because it rewards the exact traits military service reinforces: mission focus, disciplined execution, resilience under pressure, and the ability to lead people toward a shared objective. In business ownership, you’re not waiting for permission, promotion cycles, or someone else’s priorities—you’re building a mission you control, creating value, and taking ownership of outcomes. It also gives veterans a clear path to translate leadership experience into tangible impact: serving customers, creating jobs, and building long-term wealth for their families. For many veterans, entrepreneurship isn’t a risky detour—it’s a direct continuation of service, responsibility, and leadership, just in a different uniform.

The Journey We Walk With You

Ownership Readiness (Build or Buy)

Structured development for founders scaling their companies and for leaders preparing to become owner/operators through acquisition. Emphasis is on decision-making, risk, leadership, and the realities of running the business—not just dreaming about it.

Each Month
Individualized Roadmap
Mentor-Led Cohort Accountability

Small cohorts plus experienced mentor guidance create pressure in the best way: accountability, standards, and shared problem-solving. It’s a growth environment where excuses die quietly.

Operator Playbooks and Execution Systems

Participants learn and implement real operating mechanics—KPI scorecards, meeting rhythms, roles/rights, and performance tracking. The result is a business that runs on systems, not personality.

There is no “Graduation”, this program goes as long as you need it to.

Continued Support
Long-term Sustainable Success
Growth Engine Development

Practical work on marketing, sales, and business development to build pipeline and increase enterprise value. The goal is predictable revenue, not “we had a good month.”
