DESCRIPTION:Help us support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Atlanta Veterans Village. Join us at Einstein Bros. Bagels (2460 Cumberland Pkwy SE Ste 1701\, Atlanta\, GA 30339) between 10am and 1pm for breakfast\, community\, and bring items you would like us to take to the Veterans Village on your behalf! \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Atlanta Veterans Village is a renovated hotel in Mableton (near Six Flags) providing permanent supportive housing and services (case management\, job training\, health) for nearly 90 homeless veterans\, aiming to help them achieve stability and independence after opening in mid-2025 with full apartments and amenities like a gym\, business center\, and commercial kitchen\, under their national program to end veteran homelessness. \n\n\n\n\nThis holiday effort is supported proudly by Capovilla & Williams! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the Veterans Village?A community offering individual studio apartments (bedroom\, kitchen\, bath) for homeless veterans.Part of the Tunnel to Towers Homeless Veteran Program\, focused on helping vets regain stability. \n\n\n\nWhat’s Needed: \n\n\n\n\nBooks (Please refer to the attached book donation list)\n\n\n\nProfessional and Casual Clothing (New items are preferred; if gently used\, please wash prior to donation)\n\n\n\n\nCurrently\, we are in greater need of women’s clothing compared to men’s; this includes both professional and leisure attire. We are also in need of more shoes for both male and female\, as well as undergarments (packs of socks and underwear for both male and female veterans). \n\n\n\n\nTide Free and Gentle Detergent Pods or a comparable alternative.
