SUMMARY:Advancing The Line - Tampa - Workshop
DESCRIPTION:ATLVets Entrepreneurship Workshop – Sponsored by CLA\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Branding IFAK Workshop \n\n\n\nIdentify. Find. Attract. Keep. \n\n\n\nYour brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room. Yet most professionals—especially veterans transitioning into leadership\, entrepreneurship\, or advisory roles—operate without a clear\, intentional brand strategy. \n\n\n\nThe Branding IFAK Workshop is a hands-on\, two-hour session designed to give you a practical\, repeatable framework for clarifying your identity\, defining your ideal audience\, and communicating your value with confidence and consistency. \n\n\n\nDrawing from the IFAK methodology—Identify\, Find\, Attract\, Keep—this workshop helps participants: \n\n\n\n\nClarify who they are and what differentiates them\n\n\n\nIdentify their ideal audience (“your WHO”) and where to reach them\n\n\n\nAlign messaging\, story\, and presence to attract the right opportunities\n\n\n\nBuild trust and retention through consistency and authenticity\n\n\n\n\nThis is not a marketing lecture. It’s a working session. You’ll leave with clearer language\, sharper positioning\, and a brand foundation you can immediately apply to your career\, business\, or leadership platform.

SUMMARY:Advancing The Line - Tampa
DESCRIPTION:After surviving stepping on an IED that nearly claimed his life\, one Green Beret embarked on an extraordinary journey—from the battlefields of Afghanistan to humanitarian work in Ukraine\, his story is one of courage\, resilience\, and finding profound purpose in serving others\, transforming personal tragedy into a mission of hope and healing for those in need. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Zack A Knight in a business networking conversation at Centre Club where we feature veterans of the local community that are making an impact as we all come together in one place to build community and business. As the “tip of the spear\,” his role is to ensure the route taken by U.S. and Afghan troops are free of IEDs — improvised explosive devices. Many soldiers do not survive their last step; those who do often lose at least one limb. \n\n\n\nWhile rescuing an Afghan soldier outside a mud-hut compound in 2010 — knowing that he was in “uncleared” territory — Ryan stepped on an IED with his right foot. The device exploded\, leaving his foot dangling at the end of his leg.

SUMMARY:Sweat with a Vet - MVP Partnership
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce a collaborative effort with MVP – Merging Vets and Players\nEach week\, MVP hosts a workout and community session at Crossfit Resurgens. Come out and get in a sweat with us! Here’s more about MVP: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMVP empowers combat veterans and former professional athletes by connecting them after the uniform comes off; providing them with a new team to assist with transition\, promote personal development\, and show them they are never alone. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur nation’s warriors – from every field of battle – possess a sense of strength\, of excellence\, and of commitment that we seldom see here at home. However\, far too many of them are struggling to transition their abilities towards a new mission – leading themselves\, their families\, and their communities off the field. MVP was designed to address this challenge\, and ensure that all of our nation’s warriors can be as productive off the field as they were on it. \nBy merging vets and players\, we create an environment where these warriors can share each other’s strength and experience\, and can support each other in building fulfilling lives of service and strength. Your support will enable us to continue building our program\, and unlocking the potential of these great individuals. \nIf you are interested in joining MVP each week\, please check out more here: https://vetsandplayers.org/locations/atlanta

DESCRIPTION:Join Zack A Knight in a business networking conversation at Centre Club where we feature veterans of the local community that are making an impact as we all come together in one place to build community and business. Each of these events are open to the public\, veteran and non-veteran alike. We encourage you to show up and show your support for the local veteran that is being highlighted this month! \nThis month\, we are proud to present you with Lynda Cox Associate Vice President for Development and Government Affairs Tunnel to Towers Foundation: \nThe events of September 11\, 2001\, set Lynda Cox on a path to support the Nation and the warfighter in whatever way she could. Raised in the Army\, Ms. Cox is the daughter of a soldier and the mother of a sailor who has spent the bulk of her career supporting the warfighter. She joined Tunnel to Towers Foundation in April of 2023 as the Associate Vice President for Development and Government Affairs where she advocates for the dignity and security of veterans across the country who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Ms. Cox began her career in business development for physical and cyber security for companies like SAIC and ManTech. She attempted to retire and moved to Utah in 2013. While in Utah\, she realized retirement was not in her DNA and developed a robust consultancy in physical and cyber security\, business process and organization\, federal and state political strategy\, communications\, and campaign management. Eager to rejoin to the mission of warfighter support\, she moved back to the Washington\, DC\, area in 2022 where she returned to SAIC as the Communications Officer for the Chief Data Officer for a federal agency before accepting her current position at the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. She brings her experience in leading high-challenge program capture\, business development\, strategy\, strategy development\, and communications to the Tunnel to Towers mission to support our nation’s heroes once their uniformed service has concluded. \n*Business Professional Attire is required for entrance at the Centre Club.
