SUMMARY:Advancing The Line - Atlanta: Safeguarding the Bioeconomy
DESCRIPTION:Join us to learn more about Edward You\, Founder of EHY Consulting and former FBI Supervisory Special Agent.\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease join us as we kick off our 2026 speaker events with a discussion featuring Edward You\, Founder of EHY Consulting and former FBI Supervisory Special Agent. Ed assists organizations with biotechnology\, artificial intelligence\, data security\, and national resilience. This topic comes at a time when the United States faces many potential threats\, including risks to our bioeconomy. Ed brings more than 20 years of experience at the FBI\, along with his background in Biological Sciences and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology\, to provide a unique perspective on the threats and opportunities facing the U.S. today. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nOur Speaker: \n\n\n\nEdward You is the Founder of EHY Consulting LLC\, a boutique advisory firm helping organizations navigate the intersection of biotechnology\, artificial intelligence\, data security\, and national resilience. A former FBI Supervisory Special Agent\, he spent more than twenty years shaping national programs on biosecurity and emerging technologies—bridging science\, policy\, and intelligence to protect U.S. innovation. Full bio HERE. \n\n\n\nBrief Description: \n\n\n\nThe bioeconomy promises transformative benefits across health\, agriculture\, energy\, and advanced manufacturing. Yet security discussions around biotechnology have often lagged behind\, remaining narrowly focused on infectious disease or worst-case biological scenarios. As biotechnology increasingly converges with cyber systems\, artificial intelligence\, telecommunications\, and other digital infrastructures\, new categories of risk are emerging. This discussion explores how leaders can rethink biological and cyber threats in a converged world – and what safeguarding innovation should look like in this evolving landscape. \n\n\n\n📍 Location: Buckhead Club – Atlanta📅 Date: Tuesday\, January 13th🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a veteran seeking inspiration for your next chapter\, a professional invested in veteran advocacy\, or a leader looking to elevate your impact—this is a night you won’t want to miss. \n\n\n\n🎟 RSVP now – Seats are limited. Click the link in bio to reserve your spot! \n\n\n\nSpecial thanks to our partners and community members who make this speaker series possible.
